From November 14 to 20, 2022, Lomé will vibrate to the rhythms of activities marking the celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week, a great annual showcase of diagnosis and innovative solutions for a new impetus of entrepreneurship, the main lever of development of the country.
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a massive campaign to celebrate and empower entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world, especially those facing structural barriers or who may never have considered the idea of launching their startup.
Held each November, it engages hundreds of millions of people in tens of thousands of activities, contests, and events that inspire them to action and provide them with the knowledge, experience, and connections they need to succeed.
An initiative of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), Global Entrepreneurship Week was launched in the United States in 2008 and is organized in more than 200 countries by local event organizers who plan activities tailored to the needs of their communities.
In Togo, the 2022 edition has an attractive and innovative program that aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem to boost the Togolese economy through a round table, an investment and financing forum for small and medium-sized enterprises, the training of entrepreneurs, and the launch of a business support program.
The climax of the event will be marked in Togo by the organization of a gala dinner at the Hotel on 2 February during the Night of Entrepreneurs, which will see the consecration of the Ambassadors of entrepreneurship.
Below is the detailed program of activities for the 2022 edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Togo.
Monday, November 14: from 9am to 12pm.
Activity 1: Official opening and round table on the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Venue: Conference room of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo (CCI-Togo).
Wednesday, November 16: from 9am to 12pm.
Activity 2: Investment and financing forum for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Venue: Conference room of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo (CCI-Togo).
Thursday, November 17: from 8 am to 1 pm.
Activity 3: Launching of the PARTEC Program for the development of enterprises (TPME) and training of entrepreneurs on the theme: How to increase the profitability of one’s enterprise?
Venue: AGORA SENGHOR room.
Saturday, November 19: from 7 to 10 pm. Night of the Entrepreneurs » Entrepreneurship AWARDS » Gala Dinner.
